Salt Lake City Temple, UT :: {Utah Wedding Photographer}

Another lovely wedding here in Salt Lake City...with only a few drizzles of rain during pictures! We were fortunate because it started pouring shortly after we finished up at the temple...but it stopped just in time for the reception. A lot of prayers were certainly answered that day!

This couple's charming backyard reception was beautiful...I especially loved how the colors - red and blue - contrasted so well with the vibrant green grass. There were so many adorable children in attendance as well...I love capturing their youthful energy and happiness. :)

Bridals. I wish I could convey in words how much I love, LOVE, love doing bridal sessions. It's a wonderful way to capture the personality and charm of the bride without the stress that so naturally comes along with the wedding day. We take our time...making sure the hair is perfect...adjusting the necklace just so...and time seems to slow down. Suddenly the light is perfect, the bride is perfect, and it all comes together.

This session was - to put it in words - simply dreamy. 

Engagements at Sunset :: {Utah Engagement Photographer}

Shooting at sunset can sometimes be a tricky task...especially when you just barely miss it as you drive to the venue! This couple was absolutely a joy to work with...both times we met! At our first appointment, our goal was to head to the lake just in time to catch the sun dipping below the mountains. Unfortunately we missed it by a few seconds {even after we all ran at full speed towards the beach!}, so we scheduled a second appointment to ensure that this lovely couple got "their shot." I'm so glad we did because the resulting images are some of my favorites. Stay tuned for this beautiful couple's wedding in late August!
