Bright and Sunshiny Day! :: {Utah Children's Photographer}

With wedding-season in full swing, I haven't had the opportunity to do many child sessions...it was wonderful to add a little variety into my schedule with this fast-paced and highly energetic mini-session! This adorable little boy had me running all over the park, diving into dirt piles, and trekking through meadows...I haven't had that much fun in a long time! I was in awe at his natural and child-like curiosity for the world around him. It made me want to stop and smell the roses a bit more too. :)

Enchanted

These little wildflowers were so enchanting, I half expected to see little faeries dancing with the bees! :)

The colors at this wedding reception were so happy and cheerful ~ they completely reflected the bright and sunny personalities of the bride and groom! They both had the most beautiful and infectious smiles...everyone around them could feel their joy. Congratulations you two!

Lilacs

My niece and nephews brought me these lilacs today. I couldn't stop smiling. I popped them in a little vase as soon as I got home and have admired them all evening. Is there anything sweeter than a fresh-off-the-bush handpicked flower from a small child? I love this poem by William Wordsworth...I know it's about daffodils, but I think it so eloquently describes how I feel about spring. The lilacs in Utah are in full bloom and seem to be "tossing their heads in sprightly dance"!
