Remember this beautiful bride? Her bridal session was one of my favorite sessions ever! Her wedding was just as amazing...the sky was so blue and the weather was absolutely perfect! With an elegant luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and a charming backyard reception in Hobble Creek Canyon, I was in photographer's heaven. The entire family was so friendly...I felt like I had known them for years! Thank you for allowing me to document your wedding day!

A Picnic at Sunset
Is there anything more romantic than a picnic at sunset? This couple came to me with the idea of having a vintage coke-themed picnic at sunset by the Great Salt Lake and I just couldn't contain my excitement. On their first date, this charming groom surprised his bride-to-be with a darling little picnic with old fashioned cokes! I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate that memory than to recreate it during their engagement session! It was so fun to have a semi-stylized shoot, especially at such a gorgeous location. If you've ever been to the Great Salt Lake, you know that it can get quite stinky...but the gorgeous scenery makes it all worth it. The sunset was amazing and the couple was a joy to work with. Stay tuned for their beautiful wedding coming in August!

Strawberry Lake & Rural Utah
My husband and I recently went on a camping trip and had the most wonderful time. I was in AWE at the beauty of rural Utah...I'll admit I didn't know how beautiful it could be! We witnessed an owl rescue that was truly remarkable...the baby Great Horned Owl fell into a nearby creek and was trapped under the water by a collection of sticks and mud. One of the guy's in our group jumped a barbed wire fence, dove into the freezing water and pulled out the drowning bird just in time. After a few hours of towel warming, he was ready to be released back into the wild. It was a camping trip to remember!
I hope you are all enjoying your summer! Please email hellobeautifulphotography@gmail.com if you are interested in booking a session.

Bright and Sunshiny Day! :: {Utah Children's Photographer}
With wedding-season in full swing, I haven't had the opportunity to do many child sessions...it was wonderful to add a little variety into my schedule with this fast-paced and highly energetic mini-session! This adorable little boy had me running all over the park, diving into dirt piles, and trekking through meadows...I haven't had that much fun in a long time! I was in awe at his natural and child-like curiosity for the world around him. It made me want to stop and smell the roses a bit more too. :)
